Sensory Featuring Daniel Arsham

Sensory is a fictional exhibition located at the Honolulu museum of art. This is an exhibition proposal featuring contemporary artist, Daniel Arsham. Arsham is based in New York City and is known for his unique concept of fictional archaeology which is displayed in his architecture, sculpture, drawing, and film. This proposed exhibition includes a set of invitations such as envelopes, a save the date, RSVP, invitation, badges and a fully functionable app.

In most of his work, he erodes artifacts with volcanic ash and human figures for them to appear as if they have been unearthed after being buried. In most of his artifacts that are turned into stone and crystallized they are referred to the late 20th century and the digital dematerialization of our world.

The Sensory app is an adaptation to the fictional exhibition featuring contemporary artist, Daniel Arsham and his unique concept of fictional archaeology. The app is designed to create an user friendly experience that goes more in depth about more of the exhibition’s events and other features that would be ideal for this exhibition.
